Opening soon our Hatirjhil –Segunbhari development area for new tourism destination with new shape of recreation and leisure activities. It is definitely a good step that would help the city dualers to be free from moldy and fatigue which will add a new dimension in tourism. the history of behind Hatiljhil is after  the royal kings of Bhaoyal , British royal kings kept their elephants at Pilkhana. In that time Elephant used the road of Elephant road, Hatirpool and Hatiljhil area to get shower in this  lake. From that history this place got the “Hatirjhil”.

It is quiet unclrear that how much the development match with the history of this place, afterall it is very good place to visit to get free from daily busy life  in open air within the Dhaka city. Goverment could create the theme with the link of history, such as can have simple of Elephant which can help travelers to remind the history of this place.However, the government even should not  stop here. his place should monitor and more develop by responsible tourism that can only full fill the dream of Hatirjhil tourism.

Because Responsible tourism only can safe the environment and the mean time benefit for tourism place by creating concern among travelrs, tour operator and local community about the ecosystem of the destination.

Our goverment should follow the above criteria( responsible tourism) to maintain this recreational place. Otherwise, it will be tough to sustain the destation for tourism.
