Bangladesh Tourism Board on 22 July 2012
launched its official website to make the country's tourism related information
available for travelers in worldwide.
The website www.tourismboard.gov.bd will include
different information and images of Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh
Parjatan Corporation, tourist spots, hotels/resorts and motels, tour operators
and travel agents in Bangladesh said a press release.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Muhammad
Faruk Khan inaugurated the website at the ministry's conference room.
State Minister for Primary and Mass Education
Motahar Hossain, Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary M Ataharul Islam, and
Bangladesh Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer Akhtaruzzaman Khan Kabir,
among others, were present on the occasion.
