Bangladesh Tourism Board launches official website



Bangladesh Tourism Board on 22 July 2012 launched its official website to make the country's tourism related information available for travelers in worldwide.
The website www.tourismboard.gov.bd will include different information and images of Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, tourist spots, hotels/resorts and motels, tour operators and travel agents in Bangladesh said a press release.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Muhammad Faruk Khan inaugurated the website at the ministry's conference room.

BIO-Tourism: New tourism strategy can be used in Bangladesh to boost foreign exchanges

Bio-tourism can be developed as another strategy to encourage foreign tourists to Bangladesh.
The potential destination, such as Cox’Bazar, St.Martin ,Bandarban and some other place can be disclosed and promote to to worldwide tourist to earn foreign exchange .One very good example of a bio-tourism product is our Royal Bengal Tiger   in Sundarbans.
“People visiting to see the Tiger is not eco-tourism. Tiger is a part of the forest’s biodiversity,” the Tourism Ministry can develop more this place to attract tourist by using the idea of Bio-Tourism.
